This privacy policy tells you how we (The Guild of American Luthiers, a nonprofit organization) use personal information collected at this site. As a members-supported organization, built by luthiers for luthiers, we take your privacy very seriously.

These practices may be changed, but any changes will be posted and changes will only apply to activities and information on a going forward, not retroactive basis. We do not rent, sell or solicit any personal information (including emails, memberships or addresses) to any third-party lists or publications. We collect personally identifiable information, like names, postal addresses, email addresses, etc., when voluntarily submitted by our members, visitors, and customers. Members will be notified via email of their membership expiring or if there are any issues with our shipment of our products (i.e. the postal service returns a package back to us). The information you provide is used to fulfill your specific request. This information is only used to fulfill your specific request, unless you give us permission to use it in another manner, for example to add you to one of our mailing lists.

Only authorized employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. All emails and newsletters from this site allow you to opt out of further mailings. If you decide to unsubscribe from our digital newsletter or emails, we can delete your account information as per your request.

All information posted on our Site is the property of the GAL and/or our volunteer authors and is not for reproduction or republication or other use without our express permission. Articles Online is provided for our members only. Members should not share their login information.
