The Guild’s 7th Convention/Exhibition in 1980 was a big milestone in GAL history and the history of modern lutherie. The luthiers pictured here attended and got their luthier mug shots! Just look at how young and hip they are! Some were on the verge of becoming big names in the lutherie world, others you may know from the pages of American Lutherie. How many can you name?
