• Moving? Be sure to let us know ASAP through our contact form, and also file a forwarding order with your post office so your issue of American Lutherie will be forwarded to your new address if it’s already in the mail.

• Make sure we have your current email address, so you’ll get any updates, renewal reminders, and periodic newsy announcements, like upcoming issue previews.

ORDERING FROM THE GAL
• Please check our ordering info before you order for shipping times, and packaging options. We are not Amazon (duh!), and we use media mail, so shipping can take longer than you may be accustomed to. Some areas may still be experiencing delays due to lingering labor shortages, so please consider that when waiting for your order to arrive. If you have a question about your order, please contact us through our website contact form.

LOGIN HELPFUL HINTS & INFO
• An email with login info is automatically sent to you the first time you join or renew on our website. Check your spam folders if you don’t see the email when you join.

• Sometimes people are having trouble logging in because they are already logged in! If you have full access to the Articles Online, you are logged in. (Notice the “login” or “logout” in the upper right corner. If it says “logout”, it means you are currently logged in.) You can remain logged in if you like, since we don’t store credit card info on our site.

• If you forgot your password, you can request a reset using your email address or your user name. Your user name is usually your first and last name with a period between, no caps. (Example: John Luthier’s user name would be john.luthier)

• If you receive a GIFT MEMBERSHIP, the giver (buyer) will usually get the automatic login account. So have them forward you their login info, or remind us and we’ll set up a separate account for you. It won’t affect your membership either way, as we keep a separate database for our membership rolls.

• Be aware that the website login is not how we keep track of your membership. Just because you receive emails from us does not mean you have a login account. This hint mainly applies to long-time members who haven’t renewed on the new version of our website (after Aug 2019). If you don’t think you have a login account, one will be created for you when you renew, or write to us on our contact form and we’ll get you set up.
