(All out of print, but some content may appear in books as noted.) DS GAL Data Sheets These were the more technical articles that were included with our quarterly journal from 1976 through 1984. The idea was to collect them in 3-ring binders. There were 300 of them. (All out of print, but some content may appear in books as noted.) GALQ Guild of American Luthiers Quarterly This was our journal from 1976 (Vol 4) through 1984 (Vol 12). (All out of print, but some content may appear in books as noted.) AL American Lutherie This is our current journal format, published quarterly starting 1985. We abandoned the volume-and-number naming scheme, so there are just four numbers per year. For example, the 1985 issues are AL#1, AL#2, AL#3, and AL#4. The 2015 issues are AL#121, AL#122, AL#123, and AL#124. (Currently AL#85 through AL#124 are available as back issues. Earlier issues are contained in the Big Red Books – see below.) BOOKS LT Lutherie Tools The first of our two Resource Books, this is a collection of articles on the topic of tools from our early periodicals, plus new material. Published in 1990. LW Lutherie Woods and Steel String Guitars The second of our two Resource Books, this is a collection of articles on the topic of woods and steel string guitars from our early periodicals, plus new material. Published in 1998. (Out of print.) HLC Historical Lute Construction by Robert Lundberg This book collects Lundberg’s extensive series of articles which appeared in American Lutherie from 1987 through 1994. Published in 2002. (These articles do not appear in any of the Big Red Books.) BRB1 Big Red Book of American Lutherie Volume One Contains material from American Lutherie #1-#12, 1985-1987. Published in 2000. BRB2 Big Red Book of American Lutherie Volume Two Contains material from American Lutherie #13-#24, 1988-1990. Published in 2001. BRB3 Big Red Book of American Lutherie Volume Three Contains material from American Lutherie #25-#36, 1991-1993. Published in 2004. BRB4 Big Red Book of American Lutherie Volume Four Contains material from American Lutherie #37-#48, 1994-1996. Published in 2006.
