It Worked for Me: Support Device

I made this support device from scrap to help me spray an electric guitar with an attached neck. It allows me to turn the instrument on all sides so I can spray the entire guitar precisely. The bracket is screwed into the pickup cavity, then slipped into the support on the bench with an adjustable tension screw. Making it in two parts lets me move the instrument without touching it. I carry it away by holding the handle of the bracket, leaving the support in the spray chamber. ◆
