Donate to the Guild’s Most Excellent

The GAL Benefit Auction is always a highlight of the convention, and this year’s auction should be no exception! We’re always delighted with the generous donations we receive from the suppliers, lutherie schools, and others in attendance at the convention. But we also count on our members to donate their excess or unwanted (but useful) lutherie paraphernalia, whether or not they’re not able to attend. Do you have lutherie-related items that need a new home? Does your business have merchandise, a class, or a service that you’d like to donate? If so, we encourage you to make a donation to the GAL Auction!

Besides making our auction a big success, you’ll get a tax deduction, your name will be listed on our website as a generous donor, and you’ll support the ongoing work of the Guild! If you are donating a major item or service, let us know in advance and we will list it on our website prior to the convention. You can bring donation items with you to the convention or you can ship them ahead (starting now!) to GALHQ.

Any donated items you ship must arrive by Monday, July 17. Please mark clearly that
items are for the benefit auction.
